The women’s competitions have both wrapped up and the 24 spots are set for the finals in Eugene on June 11th. With the women’s pole vault having an outstanding season this will be an event you won’t want to miss. Demi Payne and Sandi Morris will go head to head again. Demi currently has the indoor collegiate record and Sandi currently has the outdoor collegiate record.

Along with that match up Arkansas advances two more of their girls freshman Desiree Freier and junior Ariel Voskamp. Both great competitors under Coach Compton. Desiree has already shown she can compete in Eugene with the great performance she put on last year at World Juniors improving her personal best multiple times. The only other freshman in this field is Madison Heath from Duke. Duke will have the second best showing with Megan Clark also qualifying.

Multiple conference champs also in this field with Stephanie Richartz of Illinois winning the Big 10 Championships, and Kristina Owsinski winning the Pac 12 Championships.

There are nine seniors in this field and each one of them will be looking for their spot on the podium. To all the girls that are advancing on to Eugene Congrats and Safe Travels to Oregon. We will see you in a couple weeks.
